Christine is our office administrator and is currently going to school for her BS in Nursing. She enjoys working in the office and helping the students with all their needs. She likes meeting all the potential students during their interviews, and helping them sign up for the course.
|

Sandy has been a phlebotomist since 1988. She is currently a supervisor for LabCorp. Sandy has worked in plasma donation and aphaeresis as well as inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy. Sandy says, “Students enjoy learning and retain information better if they are engaged in the topic. Keeping my students engaged while I teach is my goal and satisfaction.” She teaches our Thursday night phlebotomy course.

Mindy has worked as a lab technician and phlebotomist since 1998. She originally trained in Iowa before coming to Colorado. She currently holds a position as Supervisor for LabCorp Branch Operations and oversees 7 sites. She loves teaching Phlebotomy and is the instructor for our Thursday night classes.

Sunna has been a phlebotomist and phlebotomy Supervisor in the lab for over 30 years. She enjoys teaching in the medical field and has taught at several programs in and around the city of Denver. She appreciates the opportunity to share her knowledge and practical experience with our students. PLC of Denver is very lucky to have her as an enthusiastic, experienced instructor.

Jamel Walker Certified Phlebotomist Instructor

Lauren is the Owner of Phlebotomy Learning Center and our Director. Her mother always wanted her to be a doctor but instead she became an engineer and business person who helped build 4 high tech startup companies. She purchased Phlebotomy Learning Center in 2007 because she was looking for a company that helped change people’s lives.

Jamel has been working as a phlebotomist since 2000. She has worked in various settings including jails, doctor's offices, hospitals, and as a life insurance examiner. Jamel loves teaching and has been teaching phlebotomy for two years. Jamel says "My students leave with a new sense of self after accomplishing their goal of becoming a Phlebotomist and moving on to a new career."
